Our Story

"Born in Budapest, rooted in Vietnam, inspired by Japan — our coffee is a bridge between the worlds we love."

We are Lindsy and Hai — a Vietnamese couple born and raised in Budapest. Together we go by Lihai. We grew up between two worlds: the energy of this city and the deep roots of our Vietnamese heritage. One thing we never wanted to lose was our culture, our flavours, our sense of identity.

In 2024 we visited Japan for the first time and fell in love with the quietness of a Japanese coffee house — the precision, the ritual, the peace. As two busy entrepreneurs, we desperately needed a place like that here at home. So we built it.

Kōhi Haus opened in October 2025 — our sanctuary where Vietnamese coffee culture meets Japanese calm. We use the finest specialty beans, craft authentic Vietnamese coconut and salty coffee alongside Japanese-inspired matcha creations. Bubble teas, fruit teas, ice cream, brunch — so much more is on the way. Thank you for being part of our journey.
